LAWRENCE OF ARABIA - JORDAN

It was in the Wadi Rum that Lawrence of Arabia was filmed in 1962.

I could well imagine how actors Peter O'Toole and Omar Sharif got their inspiration from the mysterious jebels or hills that rise on each side of the valley. Cut into sandstone and granite rock it is 2 kms wide.

At night we would contemplate the million stars and be thankful for our dream in the making.
