Apple Computer In Apr 97, Apple Computer (South Africa) has donated a multimedia workstation (Power PC 8500 AV 150 Mhz 2 Gb 16 Mb with 17" monitor) for the development of our multimedia cdrom "We are not on the internet... so what!".

All Sign In Aug 94, Mr Michel Vandieren and Mrs Pacale Tasiaux created and offered the stickers ó Gondwana logo & names of sponsors ó to display on the expedition Land Rover.

Assubel In May 94 this Insurance company contributed in cash.

AT&T In Apr 94, AT&T supported our scientific project by an important financial contribution.

Bizarre Company In Jul 94 this company specialised in design and printing created and printed the invitations for our launch at the Royal Museum of Central Africa.

Camping Relax In May 94, Mr Johnny De Waele, administrator of Camping Relax (Gent) offered a great deal of the camping gear for our expedition:

Cisco Systems For one year since Oct 96, Cisco Systems has been our major sponsor by supporting our sensitisation and educational programme for the Southern Africa region. 

DHL Africa & Europe In Feb 94, Bart Peters and Dean Andrews from DHL-Africa, offered 16 free shipments (up to 5kg) from Africa to Belgium. DHL-Belgium followed in May 94 with the same contribution. 

Garage Tilborghs Vic Tilborghs operates the Land Rover garage in Walem and is also the president of the Land Rover Owner Club in Belgium. He prepared the vehicle and installed the new 2.5 TDI engine in Jun 94.

GLOBAL-ONE In Oct 96, GlobalOne has financed the production of our first CD-ROM "We are not on the Internet... So What!"

GT&T GT&T is in a well known satellite telecommunication company in Brussels. They loaned us a portable satellite station Inmarsat standard-C for the duration of the expedition.

Kodak/Photo-CD Kodak Belgium processed the first 4 CD-photos with the slides taken from the original Shantz pictures. They also agreed on processing 10 other CD-photos during the expedition.

Monroe Monroe offered initially 4 pairs of shock absorbers in Sep 94. They also sent 3 more pairs to Nairobi in Jun 95.

MSF Thanks to Mrs Pascal Gerard, we received the very useful MSF first aid kit in jul 94.

NCR During a part of the preparation of the expedition, we could use a NCR laptop computer.

Procter & Gamble Provider of hygiene products for the expedition.

Schering Provider of medicine for the expedition.

Siemens/Solar Siemens Solar sponsored our project by providing 5 solar pannels each 55 Watts on 12 volts, plus a regulator.

Sintesa Provided vaccins and first aid manuals for the expedition.

Studiotech Offered a semi-professionnal S-VHS video camera PANASONIC AG480 with accessories.

SUN Microsystems In Jul 97, Sun Microsystems has agreed to donate a Java workstation and a Internet/Intranet server (Netra 5i with 17" monitor) for the development of our demonstration LAN.

Synthelabo Provided us with an important quantity of medicine for the expedition.

Tudor-Fulmen Offered 2 new 12-volt batteries (90 & 130 Ah).

Zyma Provided medicine for the expedition.

Apple Computer, AEC-Bxls In Sep 94, the Apple Education Centre (AEC) of Brussels gave us 40 % discount on the purchase of 2 Macintosh PowerBooks (520c & 540c).

Beherman-Demoen/Land Rover In June '94 the official importer of Land Rover in Belgium -- Bherman-Demoen, represented by Mr Stefany -- contributed by offering a 35 % discount on the purchase of a new 2.5 TDI engine. The new engine was fitted in our LR 110 Defender 83 model by Vic Tilborghs from the Land Rover garage in Walem.

Case Concept Case Concept provided 6 metallic and aluminium cases and foam to customize the cases.

Craenen Craenen is a Belgium importer for most of the travel maps and guide books. They gave us 40 % discount on all purchases

Dialog/In Focus Dialog pushed the manufacturer company in US, In Focus Systems USA, to give us a multimedia video projector for our seminars throughout Africa. In Sep 94, we got a Lite Pro 540 for the price of an LCD pannel.Hartgerinck/Warn We received a 50 % discount on the purchase of a winch Warn 8000.

Hella/Recaro We received a discount of 50 % on the purchase of 2 fantastic Recaro seats.Michelin/KlÈber Michelin/KlÈber Belgium provided us with 8 BF Goodrich tyres with tubes.

Krautli Contributed with an autoradio/tape Autosound and a Texalarm, plus 36 % discount on auto spare parts.
